What's new in this version: added English and Chinese versions and the Languages and translations section (Vietnamese content is machine-translated when you view the site in another language).
These terms apply to everyone who uses Smile Work: candidates, employers and visitors. Their purpose is to keep Smile Work a transparent and safe place for dental recruitment, for both sides.
1. Accepting the terms
By creating an account, logging in or using Smile Work, you agree to these Terms of use and the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Accounts
- Your registration details must be accurate and your own. Each person may use only one candidate account.
- An account is activated only after you verify your email through the link Smile Work sends to the address you registered.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity under your account.
- Smile Work may suspend accounts that breach these terms or show signs of fraud or of having been taken over.
3. Registration, login and account security
- When you register, you tick the box to agree to the Terms of use and the Privacy policy. Smile Work records the version of the terms and the time you agreed.
- Each time you log in, you agree to the Terms of use and Privacy policy in force at that time, including Smile Work recording access information (time, IP address, browser and device) as described in the Access information section of the Privacy policy. Login history is kept for 90 days.
- Do not share your password or let other people use your account; do not use automated tools to guess passwords, log in or create accounts in bulk.
- After 5 wrong passwords within 15 minutes, the account temporarily cannot log in, for up to 15 minutes.
- Forgotten password: Smile Work only sends the link for setting a new password to the registered email. The link works once, expires after 1 hour and only works when you enter the account's email correctly (after 5 wrong attempts the link is cancelled). Without this link, a new password cannot be set. Once the new password is set, the account is logged out on every device.
- Smile Work never asks for your password by email, phone or message.
- You can see the logins to your account on the Login history page (in the account menu). If you notice an unfamiliar login, reset your password straight away and let Smile Work know.
4. For candidates
- Your profile, CV and professional information (degrees, practising certificates, experience) must be truthful.
- Do not impersonate others or use other people's information or images without permission.
- You choose what employers can see on your Profile page and are responsible for the content you publish.
5. For employers
- Job postings must reflect a real hiring need, comply with labour law and describe the job and salary truthfully.
- Never charge candidates any fee in any form; do not discriminate on the grounds of gender, religion, ethnicity or personal circumstances.
- Candidates' information and CVs may only be used to assess them for the posted job; do not share them with anyone else, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
6. Jobs gathered from other sites
- Besides jobs posted by employers, Smile Work uses a robot called SmileWorkBot to gather dental job postings that are publicly listed on other job sites. The robot only visits pages that the site's robots.txt file allows, fetches them slowly with pauses, and stops when it is blocked.
- Gathered jobs clearly show their source and a link to the original posting, and are reviewed by our administrators before being shown. The poster's phone numbers and email addresses are not copied.
- Smile Work does not accept applications for these jobs: you apply directly on the original site, under that site's terms. The content may have changed or expired on the original site, so please check before applying.
- Employers or source sites that want a posting removed, or do not want the robot to collect their postings, can send a request to smilework@clab.vn; Smile Work will remove the postings and stop collecting from that source.
7. Content review
Job postings and public profiles are reviewed by our administrators before they are shown. Editing a posting or profile sends it back for review. Smile Work may reject or remove content that breaches these terms without prior notice.
8. Languages and translations
- Smile Work is available in Vietnamese, English and Chinese (Simplified). The English and Chinese versions of the Terms of use and Privacy policy are translations for reference; if they differ, the Vietnamese version prevails.
- When you view the site in English or Chinese, job postings, Career guide articles and introductory content written in Vietnamese are machine-translated with Google Cloud Translation. Machine translations may be inaccurate: the original content is the authoritative information, and every translated item has a link to view the original.
- Employers are responsible for the original content of their postings. Smile Work is not responsible for errors that arise from machine translation.
9. Prohibited content
- False or fraudulent information, multi-level marketing recruitment or requests for deposits.
- Content that breaks the law or public decency, or infringes other people's privacy or intellectual property.
- Bulk collection of candidate data with automated tools.
10. Limitation of liability
Smile Work is a platform that connects people; it is not a party to the employment contract between a candidate and an employer. We recommend that candidates research an employer carefully before accepting a job, and let us know if a posting looks suspicious.
11. Intellectual property
The Smile Work brand, interface and CV templates belong to Smile Work. You keep the rights to your own content and allow Smile Work to display it according to the visibility settings you have chosen.
12. Changes to the terms and contact
When the terms change, Smile Work announces it on the website before the changes apply. Please send any questions to smilework@clab.vn.
